Giclée Prints

Giclée prints are used to distinguish photography and fine art prints from the ordinary inkjet printing you can do at home. Giclée is a fine art term that has come to be associated with prints using fade-resistant archival inks.

Currently, gallery quality archival giclée prints of the PLACES architectural landscapes are available. Choose from a variety of papers with varying surfaces:

Epson Premium Luster Photo

Premium Luster Photo paper delivers highly saturated prints by offering maximum ink coverage and a high D-Max for true photographic reproductions. The 10 mil thickness and true luster surface give this paper a 'traditional photograph' feel. Suitable for color or black & white prints.

Epson Premium Glossy Photo

Premium Glossy Photo paper has a high gloss surface and produces vivid colors. It's lighter and slightly thinner (7 mil) than the Premium Luster Photo.

Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Matte

Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Paper is perfect for images that do not require gloss. This paper yields highly saturated images, while maintaining excellent highlight and shadow detail. This versatile paper can also be used to create matte black & white prints that look and feel like traditional darkroom prints or uniquely beautiful color prints.

MOAB Colorado Fiber Gloss

MOAB Colorado Fiber Gloss is formulated for today's archival pigment printers. MOAB Colorado has a bright white and the feel of traditional, air-dried silver halide paper. Designed for optimal D-max, this paper is ideal for black & prints, while reproducing color beautifully as well.

Museo Silver Rag

Museo Silver Rag Paper offers depth and detail along with the semi-gloss finish of traditional fiber-based photo paper. With a 100% cotton base Museo Silver Rag meets archival standards and is optimized for pigmented inks.
